Everyone mark your calendars for the 2011 edition of the BUZZ at Chelsea Park! The Buzz is our way of raising the funds necessary for equipping our school with the required technology to have “21st century classrooms.” We hope to continue and expand upon last year’s success, in which we raised over $35,000! This money was used to purchase 20 LCD projectors along with other technology used directly by our teachers and students! ALL money raised during the Buzz at Chelsea Park will remain at our school!

The Buzz kicked off with a high energy pep rally in the cafeteria on February 11th. Students should now collect donations and pledges from family and friends. They will earn fun prizes based on dollar amounts pledged. The BUZZ will take place on February 24th. Students have 30 minutes to run or walk as many laps as possible around a 1/15th mile track. They will then collect and turn in pledge money by March 9th. We are looking forward to cooler running weather this year and an exciting atmosphere as we all work together for CPES! Show your support by pledging and heading out to Chelsea Park on Feb. 24rd to cheer for our students!
